Privacy Policy
TL;DR — Quick Summary
- iLikeIt does not require an account. No login, no email collection.
- Your wardrobe (clothing photos, outfits, notes) is stored only on your device.
- When you use virtual try-on, your reference photo and clothing photo are sent to FASHN to generate the result. FASHN deletes these images within 72 hours.
- When you add a clothing item, the photo is briefly sent to Photoroom for background removal. Photoroom does not retain the image.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
- Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store, with subscription state managed by RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.

2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 Stored only on your device — never sent to us
The following data is created and stored locally on your device using SQLite and the device file system. We never transmit, copy, or back up this data to any server we operate:
- Photos of your clothing items (originals and processed cutouts)
- Reference photos of yourself
- Saved try-on result images
- Outfit combinations
- Notes, shopping list, tags, categories
- App preferences (theme, sort order, etc.)
If you delete the app, this data is permanently deleted with it.
2.2 Sent to third-party processors when you trigger a feature

These transfers happen only when you actively trigger the corresponding feature. We do not transmit any data in the background.
2.3 What we never collect
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information
- Your location
- Device identifiers for advertising (IDFA)
- Analytics (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, etc.)
- Crash reports that include personal data
- Advertising data of any kind
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)
Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Sending your photos to Photoroom and FASHN is necessary to provide the core features you actively requested.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Processing subscription receipts via RevenueCat is necessary to validate purchases and prevent fraud.
We do not rely on consent as a legal basis because no processing happens without an explicit user action.
4. International Data Transfers
FASHN and RevenueCat are based in the United States. When your data is transferred to them, the transfer is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (EU Commission Decision 2021/914) included in our processor agreements. You can request a copy by contacting privacy@ilikeitapp.com.

6. Your Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. In practice, because we store no personal data on our servers, most rights are exercised by deleting the app. For data held by processors, we will pass your request to them within 30 days.

7. Tracking and Advertising
iLikeIt does not track you across other apps or websites. Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt will not appear. We do not use cross-app or cross-site tracking, advertising identifiers (IDFA), third-party ad networks, or behavioural profiling.
8. Security
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). API keys are protected by a server-side proxy so they cannot be extracted from the app binary. Local data is protected by iOS app sandboxing. We encourage you to enable a passcode or biometric lock on your device.
9. Children's Privacy
iLikeIt is rated 4+ but is designed for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact privacy@ilikeitapp.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority:
